Remember how, just after VaTech, the media reported that there was no interest and that there would be no interest in tightening up states’ obligations to report mental health adjudications to the Feds. when doing gun purchase background checks?
Nice to see there are some rational people in the Congress. Let’s see what happens from this point on, though. Not holding my breath yet, especially since the NRA has said explicitly that they reserve the right to pull out if the bill changes too much from the compromise they’re supporting right now.
