A while back, I wrote about this trip my state rep, Josh Mandel, paid to Boca Raton, Florida, just as he was starting to serve in the Ohio legislature. One of the Boca residents was quoted in the piece as saying how he made her feel good to be Jewish and that “…no one gets lost in the shuffle.”
Interestingly, pure coincidence I’m sure, it’s the same town in which, out of all of the towns in the state of Florida, FL Governor Charlie Crist is signing his state’s law that links pension fund investments to divesting from holdings with interests in Iran. (On a quick read of this article about the signing, I can’t tell if it’s a voluntary or mandatory divestment.)
I’ll let readers draw their own conclusions. I’m just heaving a big sigh.
Its mandatory.
