I’ve turned in my blogger pajamas for threads to wear to six great community events in the next two weeks or so (but that subject line didn’t come to me until just before I was about to hit “publish”).
Please explore and consider supporting each of these fantastic Northeast Ohio organizations and causes. I’ll even pay part of your ticket for one of the gatherings (noted below, next to it).
In chronological order. Click on any of the hyperlinks to get to the information and registration page.
11/5 (evening) Your Teen’s The Disorganized Student (I’m moderating)
11/6 (morning) The City Club of Cleveland’s The Responsive City (I’m an evangelist volunteering time right now to support moving the needle on open data and open government)
11/12 (luncheon) I’m just an attendee at this one but I love Legal Aid of Cleveland and their Annual Luncheon & Report to the Community speaker is the excellent DOL Secretary, Tom Perez. He is a great speaker.
11/13 (evening) Ohio Alliance to End Sexual Violence Benefit & Reception I will pay $5 of your ticket (I’m a host of the event)
11/15 (evening) The People vs. – Kol HaLev Mock Trials The People v. Joseph’s Brothers – Mock Trial (I’m moderating discussion after the trial, before the jury decision)
11/21 (luncheon) Cleveland Urban League’s Annual Equal Opportunity Day Topic: “Equity in Employment: Opportunities for the Underserved.” (I’m a board member & will be there)
What a variety of nonprofits in our midst. Please
Thanks very much, Jeff. I think it’s going to be excellent.
Good afternoon Jill,
I’m passing around the notice on “The Disorganized Student” event to some of my parents and teachers at OHS.
Do all you can to make today a better day,
Jeff
