PD Gets Cavs’ Series Score Wrong, Reverses Game 6 Winner & Loser

It’s just a print paper but I still get it. I still read it. So do a few hundred thousand folks, especially with the Cavs moving forward in the NBA conference post-season. So even though my 18 year old daughter said, “Mom, no one reads the paper anyway,” this set of typos, in just this one box of score info, drove me nuts:

If the Cavs play hard enough to win, please copy edit hard enough to get it right?

If the Cavs play hard enough to win, please copy edit hard enough to get it right?

It was a rush, it is a special section, it’s not a spelling error (check in the article above it for that – “fampusly” instead of “famously” and “bBulls” instead of “Bulls”). Whatever. The Cavs get this far – the PD should get this right. We don’t want them to have low expectations, do we? Well, we shouldn’t – and the editors shouldn’t – have such low expectations either.
